Developer / Third-Party
This release does not include any notable functional changes for developers or third-party applications. It focuses on general improvements to stability, performance, and reliability.
SIM Dispatcher
New Features
A staging environment has been released, which can be used to access pre-release (RC) versions of SIM Dispatcher. Further information can be found in the community forums.
A started simulation is now stored persistently and is no longer affected by server restarts, updates, or similar events. Simulation data remains available as long as the simulation is not stopped, must not be deleted for technical reasons, or exceeds a threshold for long-term inactivity.
SIMD4-107
Changes
Resource equipment is now considered more intelligently when matching requirements at an incident location. For example, “Water Tank (medium)” now satisfies the requirement for “Water Tank (small)”.
SIMD4-318
Fixes
The time zone must now be selected when starting a simulation environment. This ensures that time calculations work correctly across all components that rely on timestamps.
SIMD4-241, SIMD4-304, SIMD4-293, SIMD4-314Emergency units are now correctly placed at the incident location at the end of their route, allowing them to properly locate the scene again.
SIMD4-319, SIMD4-309Configuration options for overriding routes or travel times of emergency units in the administration area are now applied correctly again. A new routing engine is planned for the future, which may require renewed parameter adjustments.
SIMD4-305, SIMD4-291
