Troubleshooting: Server error after or during login

If the message “Oops… sorry, a server error has occurred” appears when logging in.

This article also applies to the browser error: This site can’t be reached. The webpage at https://www.sim-dispatcher.com/... might be temporarily unavailable or has been permanently moved to a new web address. ERR_FAILED.

This error can occur during or after the login process. The usual cause is corrupted or outdated cookies. Certain security mechanisms block the login from completing correctly because of these cookies.


Solution: Error occurs in the web browser

If the error appears on the SIM Dispatcher websites (for example
www.sim-dispatcher.com or platform.sim-dispatcher.com), do the following:

  1. Open your browser settings

  2. Go to Privacy / Cookies

  3. Delete cookies and website data for:

    • sim-dispatcher.com

  4. Close the browser completely

  5. Reopen the browser and log in again

Note: You can also test an Incognito/Private window to rule out stored data affecting the login. Cookies must not be blocked globally.

Detailed instructions by browser

Below are the steps for deleting SIM Dispatcher cookies and website data in common browsers. Complete all steps and then restart the browser.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Firefox

  2. Click the menu (top right)

  3. Select Settings

  4. Open Privacy & Security

  5. In Cookies and Site Data, click Manage Data…

  6. Search for sim-dispatcher.com

  7. Select the entry and click Remove Selected

  8. Save changes

  9. Close Firefox completely and restart it

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome

  2. Click the menu (top right)

  3. Open Settings

  4. Select Privacy and security

  5. Click See all site data and permissions

  6. Enter sim-dispatcher in the search field

  7. Delete all found entries using the trash icon

  8. Close Chrome completely and restart it

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge

  2. Click the menu (top right)

  3. Open Settings

  4. Select Cookies and site permissions

  5. Click Manage and delete cookies and site data

  6. Click See all cookies and site data

  7. Search for sim-dispatcher

  8. Delete all corresponding entries

  9. Close Edge completely and restart it

Apple Safari (macOS)

  1. Open Safari

  2. Click Safari in the menu bar

  3. Select Settings

  4. Open the Privacy tab

  5. Click Manage Website Data…

  6. Search for sim-dispatcher

  7. Select the entry and click Remove

  8. Close Safari completely and restart it


Solution: Error occurs in the client (desktop app)

If the error occurs in the SIM Dispatcher desktop client installed on your PC or Mac:

Windows

  1. Close the SIM Dispatcher Client completely

  2. Open Windows Explorer

  3. Go to:
    C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\

  4. Delete the entire folder:
    simdispatcher-desktop and/or resqueserve-desktop

  5. Restart the SIM Dispatcher Client and log in again

macOS

  1. Close the SIM Dispatcher Client completely

  2. Open Finder

  3. Press CMD + Shift + G

  4. Enter:
    ~/Library/Application Support/

  5. Delete the folder:
    simdispatcher-desktop and/or resqueserve-desktop

  6. Restart the client and log in again
